An Israeli-Canadian, Esti draw inspiration from life on both sides of the ocean, resulting in a body of work that gives the Northern landscapes a Mediterranean flavour. Her passion for color and joy, and a deep affinity with Jewish history, travel through her brush onto canvases of great variety. She seeks a voice in the world of contemporary visual art, as a political, neo-Romantic painter who emphasizes the emotional and subjective over the rational.

In 2006, she completed the Holocaust Suite, on the subject of the Holocaust from a Second Generation perspective. The Suite was exhibited in Israel, and has become the central feature of "Dorot" (see projects).

Married and a mother of two boys, she hold a BA in Political Science [McGill], a MA in International Relations and Middle eastern Studies [McGill], a BFA in Painting [Concordia], a MA Religion: Judaic Studies [Concordia], and is currently studying for a PhD student at Concordia.
